if it came to the biggest game of the season and only one of either stevie g or carra could play, who would u pick?
whos the real driving force and heart of the team??
personally id prefer to have carra,stevie is undoubtbly world class and irreplacable but i feel if id to pick one to play id hav to chosse carra!!
wat do u think?

Tough question!!!
I think i'd prefer to have Carra for the simple reason that we have more cover in center midfield.
they play in different positions and are two completly different types of players. even when carra played midfield, he was a cpmpletely different type of player. If it was a game you had to win I;d play Stevie, if it was a game where you were defending a lead and defence responsibilities were of more importance, I;d probably consider playing Carra. would all depend on circumstances though

Agree.Until we find another top class centre half, Carra is more or less indispensible

I agree, athough it's a tough one. I'm convinced that Stevie was a lot to do with the champions league half time turn around.
But Carra is just unstoppable class

carra is a defensive legend. While stevie G has the midas touch.
I'd say.. carra. It depends though..

Carra is less replaceable....if we had better cover though, then is there a match winner to challenge stevie

Tough choice seeing they are in different positions. God i couldn't choice. Stevie is a match winner but Jamie is all heart in big games and is vital.

deffo carra,actually i would have a team carraghers ahead of a team of gerrards.......while capt. bellend is busy limping around after mc claren,we have carras 100 per cent commitment for the cause!

capt bellend.???? get a grip on yourself man. why don;t you have a look at the last 5-6 seasons and see what Gerrard has given to this team. I;m sick of listening to Liverpool fans mouthing off about Gerrard as if it;s suddenly a cool thing to do. He is quality, is a match winner and we wouldn;t have won alot of the trophies we have done in recent years without him.
why can;t we just be delighted we have Carra and Gerrard in our team

carra should be captain.most vocal player on the pitch for us always,even iff half them cant understand him....more of a leader than gerrard imo..

Where you calling stevie a bell end when he was dragging us back into games ?? two classic examples champ league final and fa cup ??? i also think its hard to compare them as they both give totally different things but to call him captain bell end is way out of line, i know he has made mistakes but then again who hasnt !

did,nt know it was a cool thing to call him a bellend but anyone who writes an autobiography when they are 1/3 of the way through their life is a bellend imo.you are right bout the last 5-6 seasons,he,s been excellent for us and there is no doubt he is best in the prem in his position,but i would be much prefer iff someone who has,nt handed in a transfer request previously be captain of liverpool.lost alot of respect for him after that.so,he,s a bellend,but he,s our bellend

Nothng to do with that at all i just personally think that calling one of the best players our club has ever produced a bellend is uncalled for , and im sure pdid was not calling him that all the times he pulled us out of the shit !

no wind up,didnt think it would cause such a fuss by calling him a bellend tho...dont take it personal. like i said,he is liverpools bellend.could have been worse,could be chelsea,s bellend!

In a one off game we have two centre backs that would stand in and do a great job with CARRA out, but stevie g is the driving force in mid field and carrys a goal threat all the time. Tough choice but GERRARD in my opinion.
Sure feck the two of em', we won 6-0 without them!

It's too hard a question. Two different positions and two different players. I suppose if there was a hypothetical opposition it would make the answer clearer.
I'd pick Stevie purely for the fact he can create a match winning chance out of nothing.
