    I was listing to Off the ball on NewsTalk tonight and they were talking for a bit about some bookie in england who is looking for a straight 100k bet that Tevez will score more than Torres this season....!!I will tell you something If I had a spare 100k I would be onto him first thing in the morning.Maybe we should club together and take him up on his offer sure Torres has 3 already.

    Anybody have any links to this story...?

    Thats some crazy bookmaker we have on our hands - where is he getting off on giving out bets like that. The way Torres is going he'll break the 20 goal mark, the way Tevez is going he'll be lucky to break the 5 goal mark. I have €4.60 spare to contribute to the IrishKop fund if we're doing a collection for the bet :p

    Ive heard about this one.The bookie in question is a Man u fan.It's a good bet but what if torres gets an injury and is out for couple of months or even god forbid the season.Risky.There is no question torres is the better player and will play more games this year than tevez so like i said good bet.

    Yeah, I mentioned this to some of the lads at the weekend too...I saw the interview with Fred myself, and he said he doesn't mind if he loses the money, because he'' make double off the Chelski fans betting on themselves winning the prem...

    except betfred had a special season bet between the pair with torres at 2/7 or something, so no wonder he told them to get lost!

    the lads off raotl started this one of the lads got asked thru a mate.it spread to rawk to get the numbers up but he bottled it when they got it

    Even if torres god forbid was out for the season tevez wouldnt have a hope of getting anywhere near him

    this is anteresting topic as I have the exact same bet on with a friend of mine i've 50 euro even money bet with him on this. however when i win on this bet i made another 50 euro one that we would top the mancs this year so i'll be just handing him back his 50 euro sadly ha!
