if anything its going to dilute the champions league even more. The whole point of the third and fourth place teams going through a qualification round is too weed out the teams. There are some pretty atrocious teams already in the group stage this season we don't need anymore.
Exactly. Like I've stated elsewhere, it might not be such a bad idea to include the cup winners - ultimately it shouldn't effect the Premiership as it currently stands with the top 4 normally winning it anyway. If it was to add more spark to the FA Cup too then I'm all for it, and the cup competitions in Spain and Italy are a complete joke as things stand so might be no harm to wave a CL carrot at them to entice a more professional approach to their cup competitions.
