Hi

The list below is eh, "borrowed" from other websites I visit. Feel free to comment, or add additional links as you see fit :)

You may need PPlive to view some of these channels. Also some of them are only online at select periods so you won't be able to get on 24/7.

Here's how ....

1: Downloaded PP live at www.pplive.com

2: Right-clicked to change language, then right-clicked 'choose channels'. There are two or three with the word sport in the title, so trial and error got ESPN in Hong Kong.

It takes a couple of minutes to 'warm up', and get a steady stream

English Translation: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=e...6lr%3D%26sa%3DG (http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=zh-CN&u=http://www.pplive.com/&prev=/search%3Fq%3DPPlive%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26sa%3DG)

# Shaanxi Sports: http://people.freenet.de/yoshi7/streams/sxtv1.asx - 150 kbps (excellent quality Premiership matches, recommended that you get on early)

# JSTV: mms://218.94.124.33/lzpd - 275 kbps (new channel showing Saturday morning as well as Saturday 3pm Premiership matches)

# NTV of Turkey: http://www.ntvmsnbc.com/news/38903.asp - 80 kbps (shows live Saturday afternoon Premiership matches, recommended that you get on early)

# ESPN Star Sports: mms://202.98.116.36/espn - (live Premiership matches and a highlights show on Saturday night - high bandwidth required)

# Guangdong Sports: http://people.freenet.de/yoshi7/streams/GDTV.ram (Real Player)

# UBC Star Sports: mms://61.128.101.18/starsport - 393 kbps (shows lots of Premiership matches)

# Saudi Sports: http://www.kacst.edu.sa/en/stream/SaudiTV-Channel2.asx (worth trying from Premiership games, but good for pre-season friendlies and special games)

# TV9 Thailand: mms://61.19.223.230/tv9_256k - 256 kbps (occasionally shows Satuday Premiership matches, also live Bundesliga games - excellent quality streams)

# ZTV6: mms://202.107.208.122/cno0llive06 - 450 kbps (good for Saturday morning matches, an ESPN channel)

# MBC Korea: http://stream.andongmbc.co.kr/tv.htm (Fantastic quality, shows live Champions League games)

# TV Dalmajica of Croatia: rtsp://videolive.hinet.hr/encoder/tvdalmacija.rm - 225 kbps (shows Premiership games on Saturdays and Sundays)

# RTS2 of Serbia and Montenegro: http://www.rts.co.yu/rts2live.ram - 100 kbps (good alternative for Sunday afternoon and Monday night matches matches, Real Player)

# IRIB 3 of Iran: http://www.irib.ir/live/tv3.asx - 102 kbps (sometimes shows live Saturday games)

# CCTV-5: mms://live9.xaonline.com/station2 - 300 kbps

# RAI Sport - http://www.fastweb.it/streaming/raisport.asx - 492 kbps (excellent for Serie A matches)

# if you download Pcast although there may not be as many channels (only 3 sport channels) Caifu Sports nearly always has ENGLISH commentary

Other online channels worth checking out, include some of the following:

Myp2p
The best site i have found for free football links is www.my2p2.eu or www.myp2p.eu
It lists all the games and has step by step instructions on how to set-up each application to view the games.

The best thing is when you click on the links they have, it automatically opens the correct channel in the application so no need to look for the channel.

Also when you check out this site look out for the links near the top with the [EN] beside them. These are the links with English commentary.

Its very simple to use.

Star Sports is usually the channel with the Sky Sports coverage.

Once you have a shortcut to PP Mate on your desktop & myp2p in your favourites you'll get in pretty quickly & never miss a match again. Picture quality isn't outstanding but we can't be too picky I suppose!!!

I have used some of those, however I am now staying away from P2P that you download to your machine as I got a virus from using TVAnts. Dont know how it got on as i have latest Virus software running and was watching Villa and Chelsea when the machine froze. Once I restarted the machine was very slow and when I ran spybot it found some trojan crap, once I ran NAV, it picked it up.
Just a word of warning to make sure you have latest virus software installed before running any of them programs!!!

It was a few weeks ago so can't remember the exact name, was trying to look through the history and the name was 'Bla Trojan horse' is in the logs for that date. I use a tool called spybot which picks up spyware on your machine that Antivirus software does not.

i still use sopcast and ppmate to watch pool matches that im not ator arent on sky or setanta.
TVants software also brought a virus on to my pc that i had trouble removing. Peer to peer technology will always come with a threat of viruses. make sure your using good anti virus, simple as that

Actually, a good firewall is far more important than good anti-virus. Anti-virus should be your last line of defense.

I haven't watched any games online via P2P. I never will. Far to dangerous.

Thanks carragherisgod. That's what i meant to say.I was abit sleepy last nite writing that post. I used zonealarms free firewall application and it messed up my web browsing, so i removed it from my pc, that's why i got a virus in while using the P2P applications for the live footy.

Yep, Ive used this through pre-season, and seen all the games.
The quality can be a bit iffy at times, but overall, its watchable, and more importantly... free.

The only downside is that there is a chat room thingy alongside the screen, its rather annoying when the kids come on and talk crap, but its a small price to pay!!!

Well worth checking this site out guys ;)

Hi all! I've been watching LFC matches on TVU player - I first got introduced to this application via "live footy" website (www.live-footy.org) previously mentioned on this thread - but found out that most LFC matches are shown on channels 21500 and 21501 on TVU player - check the live footy website on the day of the match (but try to do this about an hour in advance of the match as the website gets very slow just before the match), follow the links and check out if any of them are for the TVU player application. click on that link and then it says "click on channel X" and if you hover your mouse over the relevant channel, at the bottom right corner you will see the channel number revealed - its always 21500 or 21501. Then open the TVU application, select that channel number and off you go! I'm not technical enough to know if this eliminates the virus problems (I've never had one - good firewall and antivirus) but you can get a full screen size of the match (which you can't view the live footy website) and its English commentary... just thought I'd post this in case it helped anyone.
Cheers for all the advice!

just a quick question about the streams:

Im pretty handy when it comes to watchin games on the net-have seen EVERY pool game live in the last 2 and a half seasons, whether it be online,on the telly or live at anfield.

this was very easy due to the existance of truevisions TV,an asian broadcaster with rights to literally every single prem game until 2012.

http://www.truevisionstv.com/index.aspx

it used to have a sopcast link from www.livefooty.doctor-serv.com as well as other links.

it was really handy cos it had english commentary and consistent good quality but this season it seems to have gone missing.i know it still exists because i see the odd highlights on 101great goals, footytube etc with the truesports logo!

was just wondering if anyone knows whats going on for it,where i can find it again?

nice 1!!

Cheers lads but I’m looking for a Channel Number to enter on Sopcast rather than a stream.

I’ve used the streams for year but only started using Sopcast towards the end of last season. No comparison, Sopcast is almost 100% perfect with no lagging or buffering!

If it was on PP, surely would be advertising it as more traffic to the site, not in upcoming list

http://www.paddypower.com/football/

any game witht the little blue tv beside it, and that says live on tv, gets shown on PP, they already have huge traffic with the scum derby,. you just click the little tv, and then when the page opens click the Wigan vs Liverpool tab, it wont be there until just before kick off,. only one way to find out though,. :)

I'm convinced there are some on here getting a commission from that site, there's some serious marketing going on here for it.
I find any time that there are a large number of games on e.g saturday afternoon or a mid week night with a full Program of games, it stalls and crashes as much as any other site.
Streaming makes me want to pull my eyes out most of the time anyway, even if a stream is going well I'm just waiting for it to crash. I prefer to go for Radio City and just wait for highlights

The quality is excellent mate, you pay £6 for 60 days viewing, or you can try it out for one day for £2 here's a taste of what's in line for the summer

LIVE CRICKET ON CHANNEL 15 & LIVE GOLF ITALIAN OPEN & ST JUDE CLASSIC

LIVE FOOTBALL THIS SUMMER: June: U21 Euro 2011 | July: Copa America, Premier League Asia Cup (Chelsea, Aston Villa, Blackburn) Dublin Super Cup (Man City, Celtic & Inter Milan) Arsenals pre-season tour to Malaysia and China, Tottenham's tour to Africa, Evertons pre-season tour and the Emirates Cup and much more to be confirmed.

LIVE CRICKET: England vs Sri Lankia (Live on Channel 1,6 or 15)

LIVE BOXING: 2nd July: Klitschko vs David Haye (Live on Channel 1 & 3 and in Super High Quality)

But there always something on I'm watching ssn as I speak (type) I've being using it for the last two season and I'd recommend it, haven't missed a LFC game yet ;)

lads was just talking to support from liveonlinefooty, the season tickets will be available to EVERYONE on July 5th on their site, and there is no limit on how many people can avail of them.

You were probably better off. There's f--k all on it these days anyway.I'm going to cancel after the Copa America. The thought of waking up in the middle of the night with my laptop stuck to me didn't appeal to me.:)
I will get liveonlinefooty again when the season starts.

Been seized by homeland security, they seem to be cracking down on most of these sites. I use myp2p.eu and it was fine for the boxing on saturday and for the match on sunday but for the footy you cant beat live online footy.

I regularly use sopcast to watch our games and find it very good. To get the links I use http://www.wiziwig.tv/index.php?part=sports however dont click on the link on the site to watch I've done this and had problems. What I do is select a sopcast link from the list(make sure its sopcast) right click on Play now select properties and copy the address url. Now open sopcast from your desktop log in and paste the address into the box at the top. I've found if you do it this way the stream works perfectly. Hope this post makes sense as I'm not much of a techie and its of help to someone
