Let me guess, some mod with ideas above his or her station has moved it. It was a topical thread which contained absolutely no personal abuse. Has this forum become such a nannied enviroment that we cant have a discussion that might be a little controversial?
way too strict on here some of the stuff people are pulled up on is ridiculous.. puts a dampener on a relatively good site..
Yeah, bit too strict in my opinion. The thread may have moved beyond Brand and Ross to the more general topic of "politcal correctness" and what is/isn't appropriate but that's what threads do. They evolve. It only got silly at the end with the "I like ice cream" posts but surely it'd have been better to just remove those posts and let the thread continue. Every thread here can't be about Liverpool, it's nice to have some variety in the site.
I would have imagined it was moved or edited because of some of the embarrasing shit posted in it, people refering to hillsborough and talking absolute horse shit and intent on talking about things that have nothing to do with the subject ! personally think its getting a bit much now having a go at the mods in lots of threads when you do not know the reason fro certain actions , here is an idea why not pm them and riase your concerns or mention it to them face to face when you see them !
Its funny how Russel Brands radio show which doesnt have a massive amount of listeners generated 30,000 plus complaints for ringing Manuel and slagging him off about having shagged his daughter yet Jeremy Clarkson can go on Top Gear watched by 9m and make cracks about killing prostitues being all in the average truck drivers day gets less than 200 complaints. Added to that the BBC defended his comments saying thats what fans expect from Clarkson so it no big deal. Proof in my opinion that the whole Brand/Ross thing was fueled by the media and as they like Clarkson ignore his story.
