Can't see why they would let them do Slane, there venues have gotten smaller and smaller each time they come from Parc Ui Caoimh, to Lansdowne to The Point.

They have been overtaken by so many bands now that while they have their hardcore base and some old fans will still dip in and out of their stuff they just aren't relevant anymore.

If you stuck Coldplay next year in Slane, or AC/DC or even get Bruce Springsteen back now he is touring with the E-Street band again, you know they would sell out but unless Oasis have a very strong lineup behind them they will struggle to sell it out I think.

I have seen Oasis 4 times down the years and I wouldnt go see them again unless it was a greatest hits tour.

Would Coldplay sell out Slane quicker than Oasis? I think both would struggle to be honest.

both would sell out as slane if its an indie/rock band gets the same type of crowd who got to oxegen. Its a day out more than anything.

Although i dont think there the band they were a few years ago, yeah i would defo go to this one. Dont think it would sellout either, maybe they should go for a smaller venue as they havnt got the pull they used to have.

Couldn't care less if they dont sellout if it means i can get a ticket! Slane wouldn't be a favourite of mine but whadda ya gonna do... and bollox to anyone who says Oasis aren't the same band, what bands are these days...Liverpool dont play like they used to when I first started watchin em but loyal fans we all still support em yeah? They've still got quality in the ranks and can mix it with anyone on their day... and that'll do for me!!

Oasis will definitely sell out Slane.

As much as I love Oasis my dream would be to see Bruce and the E Street Band headline Slane next summer with one of their mammoth 3-4 hour gigs!

I'd agree with this, i only read yesterday that every album they've released since 94 has hit number 1 including the latest. Love them or loath them they are still damn popular

I wouldn't mind seeing ac/dc, when is that on in the O2?

croker is a shite venue for music... there's no atmosphere and the sound is only awful.... i'd much prefer to see them do a few nights in the new O2... i heard its supposed to be the business in there for live sound... etc...
