Hi, I have an XBOX360 and am in 2 minds on whether to buy PES or FIFA. Which game is better and which would all you guys and girls recommend me to get?
Until 2008 pro was better but fifa's new gameplay style with the passing and shooting has greatly improved especially this year. the be a pro is in its second year on fifa also and only in its first on pro. personally id go for fifa iv been converted due to recent games
i prefer pro evo myself, i been converted two years now fifa was always too easy if ya ask me..... press square and goes top corner lol
shooting is a pox great goals are impossible to score ( at the moment anyway) only tap ins and one on ones and even there difficult and the through balls go exactly where you aim the stick instead of where the player is runnin so its up to you to set up the pass not the computer.
ah it musta of changed the year i converted, well i aint going back lol took me ages to get decent at pro
I personally think there is room for both games in everyones collection there both class but fifa takes it for me due to the licenses and the graphics mainly . Gameplay is great on both and you cant go wrong with either so you should never feel you made the wrong decision no matter what one you end up picking
Ive struggled with this. It is not easy but having played FIFA last year and both demos this year I thing pro evo will be the better gane this year. FIFA have improved game play but it still lags by some distance. Im probably swayed by a great goal I scored with Babel against United, a drive from 30 years into the top corner past Van De Sar.... I wanna get plenty more of those
That just about it sums for me as well. I've had a go of the new FIFA demo version on the PS3 and wasn't impressed at all, I quickly switched it of and went back to playing PES2008. Now admittedly the demo version may lag behind the actual release but it would need something really special to convince me to convert from PES.
I was a Fifa man untill 02 maybe 03 then converted to PES this year back to Fifa it's much improved, someone mentioned about PES not being as realistic PES 09 has real kits and real player names this year well it does in the demo I downloaded from the playstation store
Absolutely loving the new PES. I have only played one or two games, but it is excellent. TO be honest I have spent the weekend on Edit mode and have updated all the home premier league team kits and player rosters. The Edit mode is brilliant. You can copy shirts from the internet and then place them on the players. Absolutely brilliant. Apparently one can also load photos of players faces (not that id be bothered, though it has made me tempted to make a liver pool legends team, in a Crown Paints jersey). The wife says its like playing with dolls for men. MAybe she is right, but cant pull myself away from it. Anyway very happy with the purchase.
Oh yeah that direct copy of fifas be a pro mode from last years game riera doesnt play for liverpool in pes but berba does for the mancs . Voronin is still in the squad and pes was out 2 weeks after fifa and fifa had it right. Its little things like that which turn me off pes.
Thats what I like about it... Im scoring a couple of crackers these days now... Getting well used to it. I think they got it right with FIFA this time round
scored one or two good ones also. Ive had some crackers scored against me online though . Some people have it nailed.
