Did anyone see the England v Ireland international legends match last night on Satanta, I tuned in by chance and was plesantly surprised by the level of football that was played, Lee Sharp scored a hat trick for the English the first being a dodgey penalty awarded by a dodgey ref Mike Rilley  and Ireland replied with a brace of goals from our own trigger and one from the mighty Quinn, all the goals were good and well taken (expect the dodgey pen) with the pick of the bunch being trigger's first, the game ended 3-3 but unfortunely Ireland lost out in a penalty shoot out, very entertaining though.

Saw end of first half when Quinn scored. Like you I was surprised at the decent level and in particular the fitness of some of the lads. Mind you, some like Kenny Cunningham aren't long in retirement, but for most of them it's been a few years and more in some cases.

Yeah Dub13, you missed a good game of footbal, and as Fish2 said, I also was surprised at the level of fitness espeicaly David Kelly he ran his heart out, I don't know what the attendance was, but it looked a decent crowd and they seemed to enjoy it too.

Not sure where it was played but Trigger scored an absolue peach - Eddie McGoldrich blazed over the bar in the penalty shoot-out
