Does anyone know if they are releasing one this year, I know Football manager is coming out on 14th Nov. Anyone know??
It's been a few years since I played either but isn't Football Manager the REAL Championship Manager. It changed name to Football Manager a while back and Championship Manager became the poorer cousin of the two. Have to say that Football Manager looks pretty savage this year. I'd nearly consider coming out of retirement for it
Championship manager was originally scheduled for release in October. GAME even have it up for pre-order on their website: http://www.game.co.uk/PC/Sport/Management/~r335996/Championship-Manager-2009/ But it seems to have hit serious delays or something coz it hasn't materialised yet. As Andrew said, Football manager is the way to go now. Eidos just got to hold onto the name "championship manager" after the split but Football Manager is made by the actual dudes that were responsible for making the original CM games so good. In short, buy Football Manager instead.
