Torres, not just his play but the threat he brings that frightens other defenders and teams is awesome.
I think Momo has been outstanding in the games he has played so far. Hope he continues to grow as an influential part of the team.
Torres for me. I think he has added an extra dimension to our play and if he improves his finishing I think he can be a 30 goal a season player, never mind one who scores the much sought after 20 goals.
Tough call Torres and Voronin have looked awesome in their introduction to the premiership. Torres turn of pace is unreal, I really feel he could be our missing link! But for me its Jermain Pennant. Once again he destroyed Ashley Cole, and has picked up where he left off last season taking on players and whipping in quality balls. He rarely loses possession now unlike the start of last season, and is always a threat.
has to be Stevie Finnan ..he is just behind Voronin (41) Finnan (52) in the actim index results for players as our top two players in it but the difference is that Stevei will be 1st choice in his position every time week!! He never gets the recogniton he deserves so I think he BELONGS at the top of this poll at least...He's already a Liverpool legend for his consistency and reliability. I cant remember a player giving him a roasting in any game! Can anyone???
I have to say impressed with the new signings, esp Torres, but the team as a whole have looked alot more confident.The link up play has been excellent (granted the Villa game wasn't the may west but we've been getting better in every game since) Think we look good to mount a serious challenge this year, but the next month will be crucial
I too have been impressed by the new signings, and Vorinin has for me shown class beyond my expectations...his movement and work rate is outstanding...
I just voted for Kuyt, as the best so far. But I can't wait to see what else Babel can do once he is given the chance. He looks really impressive.
Torres is different gravey. His class is showing already. That goal against SW6 was on the of the best, purely for a turn of pace that felt TBH for dead.
veronin 4 me. alot of people on the last i kop site were saying whos this guy and i said rafa would nt get him if he was crap. beside that point he,s come in great goal against too loosers, and bagged 3 points saturday with a great finish. and setting up sissokos goal. any strikers he,s been playing with he,s linked up great. so 4 me he,s been a great signing and only going to help us go a long way this season
Went for Torres but would say Pennant for most improved. Has had his best 2 games for us this season. Reckon Yossi arriving has given him a wake up call.
