probably sissoko instead of lucas but rafa might give him a run out as it should be an easier game

I'm hoping for a comfortable. An early goal and the floodgates could open. Just have to be cautious as this is the biggest game of the season for some of these Derby players. You can be sure when the fixtures came out they were looking to see when they were going to anfield. So expect to see a Bus parked infront of their goal on sunday. But if we score early they will have to come at us and then we will destro them

F*ckers blocked IrishKop at work! Anyway, nice few goals here to boost goal difference and confidence. I'd like to see Torres get a couple and for Babel to get off the mark (if he plays)

Fancy DK for the first goal at 9/2, if he plays & remember some bookies will double, treble etc odds for additional goals by the same player. If you get it right against a team as porous as Derby you could have a tidy little profit.

Great stuff today. Hope the travelling class enjoyed it.
Torres, great to see the No.1 striker chalking up the goals.
Mascherano is immense. Xabi off the mark with a couple, Arbeloa is a nice bonus with his performances, deffo the first choice left back for me, (even if he is a right back), and Pennant is just awesome.

Oh yea, nice to see Babel off the mark too, I think this guy has something special in his locker.

We found it tough for the first 20 mins but from then on after the first goal we destroyed them. Torres is pure class not only did he have an assist and scored a brace but he ran there defence ragged close them down really well along with kuyt, Babel's finish was pure class all in all a brilliant day at the office, the travel club had a right ould goal feast to see

Seems there was a standoff in the new Block 1892.

http://liverpool.rivals.net/default.asp?sid=890&p=2&stid=8455869

Liverpool's 6-0 win against Derby County at Anfield on Saturday was seen by all supporters in attendance at the ground as a comfortable win for the Reds but for some supporters the game was overshadowed slightly by events that occurred in The Kop stand during the second half.

Almost all the supporters who go the games are aware of a campaign called Reclaim The Kop which has been set up as an education initiative but mainly it's purpose is for improving the atmosphere at Anfield.
The custodians of the group have been in negotiations with the club over the summer about improving the atmosphere as well as having a specially commissioned block at the back of The Kop, christened Block 1892. However the club took a backwards step over their relationship with RTK when stewards ejected one fan and gave verbal warnings to others over something that happens regularly at most games at Anfield - persistent standing.

At the start of the season everyone was saying that against the likes of Chelsea the atmosphere is bound to be great because it's a big game but the acid test would be against the so-called lesser opposition, the likes of Middlesbrough, Fulham and Derby County - our opponents on Saturday. Set guidelines were drawn up between RTK and the club, something that they both agreed on but on Saturday that seemed to go out the window on the club's part.

Sitting in block 106 I was constantly turning round when there was a break in play to monitor the situation and it looked like a bit of a standoff between supporters and stewards. At least three were stood at the front of block 306 with a police officer in the middle. If you were not aware of the situation you could be forgiven for thinking that it was something to do with hooliganism but it was not as serious as that.

I have tried to see this from the club's point of view regarding their agreements with the Football Licensing Authority and Liverpool City Council with regards to the issue of the stadium safety certificate but the case being put forward by those in Block 1892 on Saturday has more weighed against it than the club's claim over their agreement with LCC and the FLA.

The issue has been discussed at length on various Liverpool forums in the aftermath of events on Saturday and it appears that the club are going back on their agreements with RTK. What they fail to realise is that the campaign is already having an impact. Have they forgotten about Truth Day in January this year? That was RTK's doing and it was a huge success. This season the group are continuing on the success of Truth Day with chants from the olden days, traditionally confined to the pubs around the ground, back on the famous terrace.

Viewing the forums over the weekend several questions have been posed that the supporters who are trying to improve the atmosphere would like chief executive Rick Parry and stadium manager Ged Poynton to answer.

Rick Parry, George Gillett, Tom Hicks, Rafael Benitez, the players and Ged Poynton have all been quick to praise our support as "the twelfth man" in the past and their definition of that twelfth man at its peaks is when we're all standing and singing. Why is there now a sudden emphasis on sitting during games when the objective of RTK is to improve the atmosphere?

What's the difference between standing during game against Manchester United, Everton or even a European night at Anfield and standing during a game against Derby County?

Why is there suddenly a mass clamp down on persistent standing three games into the season with supporters in block 1892 being singled out for verbal warnings, and in one case ejection from the ground, for simply standing up?

Why has the club worked with RTK for the past six months over the issues of ticketing and Block 1892 and both sides have made compromises for it to work, so why have Liverpool Football Club seemingly gone back on some of their promises with the actions of their stewards on Saturday afternoon?
I hope Messrs Poynton and Parry can answer these questions when they next speak with RTK because otherwise they are in danger of alienating their famous twelfth man.

Yeah alot of talk on other forums, apparently just the one getting thrown out but alot of names being taken, stewards acting rediculous imo, or who ever is telling them to do it!

I observed the head steward and a couple of other stewards come up and have a chat with a few lads who were a couple of rows behind us,they came up a few times but they were to far back for me to hear what was been said.

If it was up the back of the kop then I was just in front of the lads they kept talkin to!! They just kept standin even after exciting play on the pitch!! Was dead unfair......noticed why the stewards kept comin up after the game two young fellas couldn see a thing with some of the older lads constantly standin!!
