I know 3 people who have computers wrecked by limewire.Bearshare done mine in for a while.
I also find the switching it on and off is a great tool.

That's an illegal file-sharing programme right?? Like k*zaa was?

If so they're notorious for that kind of shite.

I would be inclined to uninstall l'wire ASAP. And delete any corrupt files.

Get a virus killing software (you can get some free trials, etc online) Also get a Spyware remover and Adware remover (again you can get free trials online).

After you have run all those you should be OK.

Thanks for the help lads... I just went into my computer adminstrator account and deleted the user account I use on a regular basis. Seems to have worked.

I'd probably avoid using that illegal file-sharing programme in future too.

Causes more hassle than its worth

Lads if your looking to get music using Kazaa, Bearshare, Limewire etc. I wouldnt bother.......it creates serious hassle with viruses and unwated software etc.

What I'd suggest to use is Deezer.com

Its a great site that allows you to create your own playlists and libraries of any artist for free. Its all legal but is restricted as you cant download the tunes.

But at least your laptop/pc doesn't slow down or crash because of lack of memory!:)

Ah lads, What he said actually makes sense. If you turn it off you won't have any more problems. ;)

And Burning it also works a treat! :D

And if Dking had computer issues he would just buy a new one!

Now that's the way to solve a problem! :D

That's just of secondary importance though apparently.

As long as the electricity is working there's no need to panic.

And the rest of your family can warm their hands on your smoldering head! ;)
