Voronin finished well to- watching via one of the sticky's (Thanks to all!!)- great to have another 3 points wrapped up- even if it took a little long for the game to be put beyond doubt!!

Gordan looks like a great keeper,he may be the only chance Sunderland have of staying up.

i hope its not a broken rib but even if he misses the toulouse and derby games, his next game wouldn't be until the 15th thanks to his international retirement

We'll be stretched at the back with sami if he can't play because of that broken nose...

If worst comes to worst we will play three at the back against Toulouse with riise and pennant maybe acting as wing backs with 3 in the centre sissoko/alonso/mascherano as def-mid two of the 3 then have benayoun as the flair player in the whole with Crouch and Kuyt up front

what do ya think with arbeloa, finnan and dagger as the 3 centre backs

I'm just been practical in the circumstances we're in with Carra and Hyypia going to be out for the Toulouse and possibly Derby, tell me who will play centre back with Agger in a 4-4-2, Alonso maybe but other than that we have inexperienced backup in Jack Hobbs. But we will wait and see what happens.

Yeah Carragher would be a big loss.

Well done to Sissoko and Vorinyin; both great goals

Would have said straight swap and bring Palletta in but he's buggered off back to Argentina, Hobbs is a prospect but as you say inexperienced, Antwi for me looks good but is on loan and injured, still I'd go for inexperience over a formation that provides no width and a potential to leave gaps in front of or behind midfield. The last thing we want to do is invite Toulouse on to us.

Sorry for being negitve, but taught Xabi was very poor yesterday. Why have Mascherano on the beach and not play him. I understand with Tuesday's game and all being worth big money to get through . But the Prem' is what we all want first and foremost. 38 CUP FINALS. Each and every league game is more important than any other game this year. I would have Xabi off after 60 mins. I not knocking Xabi as we know what a good player he is. But nobody should be aloud stroll through games. Look at the front 2's workrate yesterday. Torres and Voronin where magnificent. Xabi didn't work half as much as those two.

Too right, great to see us getting off to such a good start and set ourselves up nicely for the rest of the campaign. I'm starting to get a really good feeling about this season...
