Has anybody here used Utorrent on Chorus/NTL Broadband, I've only just tried it recently and there's nothing downloading for me.
Anyone know if Chorus/NTL block torrents or not.
I've tried googling info about it but getting nothing back.

Ports have to be opened within the Utorrent software to enable connectivity. Unfortunately I don't have them off hand.

No ISP supports that or any other file sharing programs as it causes no ends of problems espeically considering your IP address is seen by all and can be used to attack your own PC thus taking valuable information.(If some of the torrents users are technical minded and scum to do it)**

ah Jaza, deal with it day in and day out with UK customers absolutely crazy. One guy I came across downloaded a terabyte in 2 weeks after that kind of downloading a policy had to be put in place to stop crazy downloading like that ruins other Internet users connection to the exchange as well.

Cheers lads ..I'm going to try later to see if it downloads quicker for me, It looks like it was taking forever at first.
I was sure that UPC had put a stop on torrents or something because I was using O2 broadband at first and it was going perfect.

Jaza I'm might be giving you a shout later If I have any problems since you work for Chorus
