Amazing, 2 games into the season. Kop on mate!!
Again it smells of agentspeak, I hope this is not the player's sentiments

By the way whats a medium sized team?

Yossi Benayoun is already concerned about his lack of opportunities at Liverpool and "will think about moving to a medium-sized team" if the situation does not improve, according to his agent.
Liverpool have played only three competitive games this season but the Israel international is the second Liverpool player - after Peter Crouch - to complain about not being involved enough in Rafael BenÃ*tez's plans. Benayoun was left out of the squad for the Premier League games against Aston Villa and Chelsea but started and played 59 minutes in the Champions League qualifier against Toulouse last week.

"If Yossi won't be involved enough we will think of moving to a medium-sized team," Benayoun's agent, Ronen Katzav, said in a radio interview in Israel. "When we first met with Rafa BenÃ*tez, he asked for a lot of patience since there is a huge squad at Liverpool.
"We don't analyse each match. Yossi has patience and motivation and he will get his chance. When you are taking a decision to move to Liverpool, you are prepared for all possibilities and Yossi decided to follow his heart. The target was to try and integrate in the team and I'm sure he will play a lot. Naturally, Yossi wants to be in the squad and knows he has a lot of work to do but if he won't play for a long period we will think again."

The Israeli media has been stunned by Benayoun's omission from the Liverpool squads but BenÃ*tez has asked his players to be patient. "It's the same with Jermaine Pennant, Javier Mascherano, Yossi Benayoun, Sebastián Leto and Lucas Leiva," he said last week. "I can only use 11 [players] - and I cannot have more than 18 players in a squad for a European match unfortunately.

"Every player knows they have team-mates to consider. They're professionals and they need to be ready for each game. I'll always have the same answer."

Bloody agents stirring the sh#t as usual .....Sure he's only in the door he hardly expected to walk straight into the first 11. I can see Rafa using him against weaker teams in Anfield like Boro, Derby etc who pack 10 men behind the ball. The games we have had so far other players were more suited to fit Rafa's tactical plan.
Hopefully this is not Yossi's views as I'm sure Rafa made it clear to him what his plans were, and we don't need players thinking the team should revolve around them. People in his homeland are probably shocked their star player hasn't got a look in so far, judging by the article

..... is the right answer :)

No quotes from the player & unless we hear that then nothing to see here. I'm sure a quiet word in his ear will ensure we don't hear anything from his agent again

I'm sure he's disappointed not to have even been in the squads for the first 2 games but he will have been made aware of the strenght of the squad and I wouldn't be surprised to see him start on Saturday via Sunderland

Disgraceful carry on. I'm getting a little concerned at all these stories coming out after only 2 or 3 Premiership games - Crouch moaning about not starting, Benayoun moaning about not starting, Jol facing the sack. Madness.

It's all the money circulating in the game, too much pressure is placed on them...

Apparantly that story originated from an Israeli talk show that his agent was on and the female presenter, who is supposed to be a proper ****, put the words in his mouth, and now the Guardian has blown it out of all proportion.

Obviously the Israelis can't handle the fact that their National team captain can't hold down a regular place at Liverpool. They had better get used to it.

All the media have no concrete stories to go by so they create this fabricated stories to sell papers. All these quotes are supposedly from his agent but you can't trust that until here it from Benayoun himself.

if we go 3-4-3 like we did against some weaker teams last season, he could play off the front two which i think is his best position
