Anyone watch this yet on Channel 456???

It's a new free-to-air sports news and betting channel. The channel is running feature programming in the morning with live news and betting information in the late afternoon and evening. All the time a ticker and side panel keep viewers up to date.

Its free-to-air transmissions also make it a candidate for Freesat, though there have been no announcement of that yet.

In addition to the services of a number of prominent sports personalities including Stewart Robson, Ray Houghton(Is there any channel he isnt on?) and Alvin Martin (football), Robert Green and Jeremy Chapman (golf), Ed Hawkins (cricket) and Lydia Hislop, Eddie Fremantle and Steve Mellish (horse racing), they also have exclusive rights for Brazilian Championship Football.

Looks ok so far, better than that joke they call Setanta sports.

sounds good, sport is lacking in the free to air satellite department.

the only actual sport i've seen on it so far is Brazillian Football on Sundays but they keep the Tickers on the side and bottom of the Screen so it's pretty annoying.
apart from that all they seem to do is Talk about Sport and the latest Betting.
wouldn't be my Cup of Tea but i'm sure it will Appeal to a lot of People...

i think that's the idea superfan, you wont get more sport on a free to air channel. It's more a news channel a la sky sports news. Already looks miles better than Setanta sports news at least.
