Lads, I was bitten by the Ski bug last December and February, and already have booked Les 2 Alpes for a week next March. Has anyone on here been to this resort or can people recommend other resorts that they've been too for craic and good snow. I know that a lot couldn't be arsed skiing, and that was me until i did it, but have to say great fun and super Apres Ski after! altho 2 hours max as found i was shattered and in bed by 10pm each evening. Would be great to get info on affordable resorts and peoples opinions.
Ok,i havent got any info on it but anyways! Im going skiing in New Hampshire,i think thats near Boston, with my school in February for 6 nights. Should be fckn brilliant because its all senior students going and lethal teachers such as senan connell and ex-dub paul caffery who teach in my school,so it should be great craic... We're getting 2 hours of lessons and then the teachers fck off to themselves and we can stay on the slopes as long as we want or go back in,shopping etc.(which is kinda pointless after flying to fckn america to go skiing and then u go shopping!) Ur talking about affordable resorts, well ours is 1250euro which includes: Flights,Coach Transfers,6 nights half board,5 days full ski package, hire of equipment, ski pass and insurance... That good for the price ?? Probaly paying for the fckn teachers aswell lol
That good price. Were paying 2 Adults & 1 Child €1600 Flights, 7 Nights Half Board. Does not include Ski Pass or Ski Gear or Transfers so probably another €600 - €700 which is not too bad as in December we booked placed called Avoriaz and it cost us €6,500 all together. Now that included food and drinks for the week. Place in Italy we booked for 4nights me and few lads cost only €480.00 including flights and lift pass and ski gear. Preselano and Monta Pora i think the place was called. very cheap and cheerfull. But did us as it was a lads few days, only problem was it ended up costing us €1500 each in the end because due to fog the flight was cancelled (ryanair) and we had to stay in Milan for 3 nights waiting to get on Aer lingus flight that had cost us another €500 to get home. Travel was a disaster and we also lost 3 days off work! But was great fun
