Have to say I am really looking forward to this film. All the reviews so far have been excellent. This has been a poor year for films in the cinema (maybe due to the writers strike), at last it looks like there is something worth watching. The hype is obviously much bigger due to the tragic events surrounding Heath Ledger. I am going avoid all trailors and preview shows as they give too much away. Must get Batman Begins out again before it for a refresh
Shold be excellent. Not the worst year ever...No country for old men, There will be blood, Juno, Lars and the real girl, Indiniana Jones and Sex and the city (just kidding..but not really). But this could be the one to beat em all. Bale is a superstar, edgy and brilliant as the consumate reluctant hero. Cant wait to see this. Ledger is meant to have really enjoyed the role and Christopher Nolan was "amazed" at his performance...apparently
This was released here at the weekend and I went to see it Saturday. I was super excited, watched trailers etc but let me tell you nothing will prepare you for how excellent this film (and Heath Ledger as the Joker) is. The Joker steals the show, he is comic, gruesome, frightening- just amazing. Anyone with any interest in film should really make time to catch this in the cinema if possible. Can't wait to see it again to be honest- just amazing!! Or awesome as I heard a lot on the way out of the film

Saw it tonight and i loved it Slyed off work early to catch a matenee show Film was two and a half hours long but it flew, heath legder RIP played an absolute blinder best batman film in ages even better than batman begins.
it is unreal . the storyline is class the action is class heath ledger is brilliant christian bale is brilliant 10/10 i wanted to watch it straight away after seeing it

All ready went to see it on sunday was absolutely out of this world, it was everything i wanted and expected it to be and even more. Hate clowns they freak me out so had a few night mares after lol but am dying to go see it again.
Great flick, recommend going to see it in the cinema as its one of the few that warrents a trip there. Joker was excellent, real menace to him...his laugh reminded me of the cartoon. Great stuff. Thought they tried to stick too many characters in their and it slightly suffered a bit in that respect but otherwise its one of the better films I've seen in a while (big hollywood style)
Thanks for all the feedback. Wont get to it for a few weeks, but Ill enjoy it even more having to wait. Id doubt Ledger would get an oscar though, dont the Acadamy tend to steer clear of these kind of movies (mores the pity of you ask me)
yeah but when you see this film you will think differently . the direction is great and heath ledger is unbelievably good in this role . one of the finest displays of acting ive seen since robert de niro in once upon a time in america . if your into films in general you will be blown out of your seat

i went to see it last night myself, great movie. The joker was very good but also two-face. the affects were very good.
