What do you mean the figures are very dark? Is it the same for all games? Do you see a high level of detail in the graphics?

the people in the game are dark, but when i brighten it up to the max u can see them but the quality of game is slow,i play battlefield2142 as well and that is perfect,i cant see much detail till i brighten it up.

I'm not too well up on Games requirements to be honest. Check out the website for both games- I'd guess there should be a "MInimum Hardware Requirements" spec for each game. See if there is much difference between the two.
Have a look at boards.ie - there are sections there dedicated to gaming etc. They're sure to help you there.

You've a decent spec there. The only doubt I would see is the video ram is 512mb and the NVidia card (especially the onboard chip) isnt bad, but its not great either and with newer games it can take more video ram.
I'll presume you dont have a laptop and are playing on the battery power? If so, plug in the juice and see if it helps.
