Register on pigsback.com and you can get 2 for 1 on main courses at wagamamma's sunday to thursday - dublin or cork - really good asian food. You can also get a free starter platter in Mao on Chatham street if four of you are sitting down. Two for 1 main courses in captain americas too but I wouldn't recommend the food there
That Toscana place looks good! Might give that a go this weekend! 'Paparazzi' in Terenure is also very good and excellent value.
Have to agree with you mate, last few times we've gone the food was not good, mostly re-heated burgers etc. Also, last time I went there (eh, it will be my last ...) the inside of a friends bun (as in burger bun ) was gone mouldy. Captain A's is no more than part of our history now I'm afraid. If you like Italian, Pasta Fresca just off Grafton St & Pizza Stop (also just off Grafton St) do good food, at reasonable prices ... none of this service charge nonsense etc.
I had a lovely meal out in Oscar Taylors in Malahide on Sat night, they do amazing stake.I had forgotten how good it was,I will not be leaving it so long again to go back.It was also fairly reasonable.
are you sure your not talking about the sister restaurant the Espresso ? it's much cheaper and do great food.
Lads Get onto MenuPages.ie and start writting those reviews will you please ? ... they'll pay you points which you can convert into restuarant vouchers btw
Thai Garden in Blanch village is great, food is top drawer and very reasonable. I always liked Fallon & Byrnes in town aswell although a bit more expensive
for tose on the site that live in limerick the shamrock chinese on the ennis road is very cheap and the best chinese ive ever had
Espresso is nice too, La Palma is not that bad in price considering the way the restaurant is run and food is cooked, superb in both.
Pigsback have started to do vouchers for 2 for 1 main courses in Mao restaurants too - 7 days a week but fri and sat has to be before half 6
Anyone ever been to the all you can eat chinese on Abbey St? The food's good, it's reasonably priced and it'll fill you for the day...
Hi Mao's is quite good, must admit I've been in there a few times. Not been to the buffet on Abbey St, where abouts is it exactly mate ? Also, anyone been to the one under the Comedy Club on the Liffey (close to O'Connell Bridge) ?
Yeah mate id definetely recommend Oscar Taylors, good atmosphere in there aswell on a sunday and theres another place in malahide aswell,ah bollx cant remember the name, arrghh it'll come to me ! but its very nice aswell, its like a cafe...
if anyone likes Indian you cant beat Vermillion in Terenure over the Terenure House they do mid week specials, sometimes a second main for €1 and good value for wine. Even of the menu at the weekend its good value. To early to think of dinner lookin forward to a sausage sandwitch.
Yeah i've eaten in Vermillion in Terenure too and it's very good. No arguments price-wise either. Good call there redforever! Although I can't say I'm into the whole sausage sandwich thing!
Ive never had a bad meal in toscana's in Glanagreary. Lovely food, good service. Wine is a bit pricey though but you can over look that if your happy with the meal.
i'd reccommend this place to anyone,i go most Weekends, the Food is top Drawer and very reasonable. http://www.fxbrestaurants.com/ryans_index.html
