Im sure rafa will field two different teams for each half. The football is back, thank god.

Mike Dean is the ref for this. Since he lives on the wirral, i wonder does he actually support either team. If this was a competitive match, he wouldn't be allowed to take charge as was the case with the 06 cup final.

I hope we get a chance to see a few of the new kids aswell Poloskei and Niko Saric.
I don't think Dossena can play because his international clearance hasn't come yet.

All in all a good workout for the players. Dominated the game of course. Good start to pre-season.

Was a typical pre season affair. Remember the Austrian lad got a hatrick last season in pre season, never heard of again.

Voronin was terrible. pennant played well but he's playing against league 1 opposition. great to see agger back after so long out. Degen was good going forward.
