Worth a watch definitely...i think it will be interesting to see all the Chinese athletes coming out of no where and clearing up all the gold medals...other than that, it's going to be a freat spectacle...and as for ourselves, i think getting on the podium will be a great achievement, and if we do, i think it could be in something that we're not expected to bring in the gold like boxing...athletics is too competitive in my opinion, and we don't have the funding that the likes of the US have...but you never know, O'Rourke might surprise us...

I'll watch the Olympics alright. There's a few very promising Irish competitors: Paul Hession, a young Galway man in the 100/200m and David Gillick in the 400m. In the women's athletics I'd say Derval O'Rourke in the 100m hurdles is in with a chance. Hopefully all the Irish participants will perforn well and good luck to them.

Paul Hession is an incredible talent and a lovely guy. But with Bolt, Gay and Powell, I doubt hell get close to a medal

I'm looking forward to the men's 100m especially since there's Irish interest. Bolt will surely be odds on favourite after that unreal world record last month. He doesn't even rate it as his best distance  (I think he prefers the 200m).

Will defo watch the irish boxers, sprints and also the football. The teams have started taking it very seriously and some of the squads are very good.

Much like the Tour De France, the games have taken a major hit due to the drug problems. The time difference will also be a b*tch.
