    6 teams have stayed in the premiership after winning the championship play-off final the previous season. Name the team and the season they survived?

    West Ham won playoff in 2005 and stayed up after 2005-2006 season - they lost in the cup final though :)

    When Ipswich came up via the play-offs in 2001, they got into Europe beating us at Anfield by 0-1 in the process of doing so, scorer was Marcus Stewart in the kop end. It was a Sunday afternoon game and the weather was sh1t. The fast ferry was cancelled and we got the slow boat home at 3am. It was on that very night that I found out have bad my sea sickness can get!

    Igor Biscan's first home appearance, I think.

    Ipswich finished 5th. Bolton finished 16th. Hammers finished 9th in 2006 as Joe mentions. Blackburn is one but not in 2001. they finished 4th in the 92-93 season. thats 4. well done. 2 more to go.

    Leicester in 96/97 finished 9th and Birmingham in 02/03 finished 13th.
