The Albert Chelsea semi 1/5/07

In work don't have the sound on the pc but that looked class, people going cracked!!!!!

 

Ah yea,

I was there alright, don't think I'm in the video mind you, if memory serves I was supposed to meet Pam that day and she got crushed at the doorway, it was mad (in a great way obviously )

My hangout whenever I can get to Anfield, can't get enough of it I must admit (though usually up on the elevated area on the RHS when you come in the front door, gasping for air from that old dodgy fan on the wall )

 

Snap! I was up on the elevated bit also ... and had to meet Pam too.

 

Your kidding ?

- guess we migh have to make a point of meeting each other then also, next time we're heading over

- I'm usually up there when I'm in The Albert, so easy to find once you know what I look like !

 

No joke I had to pass on a ticket to her so met her and Alan at statue, have meet up some time I was probably standing next to ya that day

 

LOL ... probably

Anyway, for future referance if I'm over:

- you know where I'll be standing

- will probably have the mobile in one hand texting / recording a live singsong

- bottle of Stella or two in the other hand (not brave enough for pints in The Albert on match day )

- couple of lads trying to avoid being seen talking to me, for fear of being called my friends etc etc

 

hard to believe i know but in all the times i've been in Lpool i've never set foot inside the Park or the Albert......

 

Was sitting on the wall outside the petrol station drinking cans. It was a cracking evening weather wise. No reason to be inside. Bargain booze did the job.

 

By the Sandon ? There was some crowd around there. Never knew they had a roof top garden until that evening. I did 5 pubs around the ground, including the Albert and Park and 3 in town during the day. It was a cracking beautiful day and evening in every sense of the word, the build up, the match and the aftermath. Was great buzz going back into town on the bus even......aaahh the memories.

 

I wonder what PaddyPower or any of the other bookies would give us in terms of odds, to get the same draw for the CL semi-final again ?

... just imagine, doing them over a third time
