I'm dropping in and out, filling the void before the big one by watching Sunderland v Spurs, bit of a snooze fest. Roll on 5:15!!
Some finish alright, some touch by Chopra to control the cross. Did ya see the look on Roy's face as Chopra was walking off, like a kid finding himself all alone in Willy Wonka's factory!
Liam Miller played well when he came on, and i think Chopra's finish has just pushed Murphy out of the starting 11 next game...
Yeah sean, it was great, he was extatic! Newcastle just scored, N'Zogbia, free-kick, a cross but went all the way into the net!
Sunderland need a center midfielder big time how on earth did York stay on the pitch that long...?also I taught McShane was Man of the Match the lad is going to be at the hart of the Irish defence for the next 10/15 years.
McShane was world class today, looked completely settled playing in the Premiership. Another Paul McGrath in the making
I don't no how McShane did not take the Man of the match award today I am not sure who makes these decisions but they got it wrong today.
I agree, there has been some amount of ridiculous man of the match awards over the years. Remember when we went to the old toilet the season before last on RioFerdinand's come-back game? The lad was non-existent during the game yet get the award so could appear in front of sky sports camera's. Shocking stuff.
Can we please chill out here, McShane has the makings of a very good centre half & I'm delighted for him, Sunderland & Ireland's future prospects...but to mention him in the same sentence as the Pearl is the stuff of tabloid...some perspective please.
Could not agree more he has good potential but lets not get carried away comparing him to one of irelands greatest players, i think mc shane will find it hard going this season, i will hold off my judgement untill i have seen him play alot more games !
Comparing him to McGrath or calling him world class is abit OTT. I like his attitude as well I remember him doing and interview after the San Marino match he was the only one who said we should be beating teams like this 7/8:0 and he was only 20 at the time..While captain fantastic Robbie Kean would just say 'a win is a win...'I lost a lot of respect for Keane that day.
Alright, alright, so I had a few cans during the game and got a little carried away afterwards with my fingers typing lyrical about him. Gez, give me a break like
