I see they have released a 23 man squad, what happen to a straight forward best 11.
Here is mine

Buffon - Ramos, Marchena, Chielini -Senna, Xavi - Iniesta, Arshavin, Sniejder- Villa, Pavlyuchenko

Terrible touranment for defences, with attacking football winning the day.

Honourable mentions to Zhirkov, Altıntop, Fabregas, Ardan, Zyryanov and El Nino

Worst XI (with reputations)

Cech - Thuram, Materatazzi, Abidal, - Simao, Vieria, Kallstrom, Malouda, - Del Piero, Toni, Gomez

I've seen Ramos in a couple of people's best XI's, some ex-players in the weekends papers. I don't understand it, I thought he had a terrible tournament, very nervy. I know it may be tough to pick out a good right back for the tournament, with Bosingwa, Zambrotta, Sagnol not covering themselves with glory.

I personally thought Corluka for Croatia or the Russian right back (name escapes me) should get the nod.

personally i thought he looked a different player when he was moved to right back.looked nervy in the centre alright.thought he was a lot stronger right full and good going forward.:D
