Liverpool midfielder Lucas has been named in the Brazil squad for an Olympics warm-up match later this month.
Brazil are yet to announce opponents or a venue for the game on June 22, but coach Dunga was quick to reveal a squad following his side's shock defeat to Venezuela on Friday night.

Lucas' recognition at international level comes at the end of an impressive debut season at Anfield, during which he made 32 appearances and scored one goal.

"How many Brazilian players could say they have succeeded in England with a famous club? Not very many," said the Reds' midfielder. "We have Fabio Aurelio here and I hope he is successful but he had played in Spain for years before England.

"I would like people to remember me as the first young Brazilian to win everything with Liverpool. I became the first Brazilian to score a goal for Liverpool and that was a proud moment for me.

"I could have gone to Spain or Italy and it would have been more like I am used to. But I want to make the most of my career and I want to challenge myself.

"I have friends from the international team at Inter, Cesar and Maicon are great players and I would have enjoyed playing with them.

"But I would much rather play for Liverpool than Inter. That was my decision then and it would be the same if I had to make it again.

"I love the English game, but I will have to work hard and take my chances in the team if I am going to play and enjoy a long career at Anfield."
