Lots of irish horses at the front of the betting for the Oaks today but i reckon Clowance is a cracking each way bet. Boyle Sports are paying 1/3 off the odds for a place.
I'm having 5 pts each way with them at 9-1.

Thats a good price considering they her 6/1 to win and are only paying 1/5 odds for a place.

Backed Katiyra at 2.82 on betfair to be placed. I would always use betfair when backing a horse to be placed, normally 15-20% better odds. Bookies are tight fisted when it comes to offering place odds.

For New Approach to win after pulling so hard, using up so much energy and having a rough passage it was a brilliant performance. Only for Henrythenavigator he'd be a dual Guineas winner as well and may not have gone to Epsom at all. 2 superstars and well ahead of the rest i'd say.
