I think we will be doing well to beat these lads. Unbeaten in 4 qualifying matches so far this season, beating the argies along the way:eek:
Id be happy enough to see everyone having a good game and maybe see a few goals....for us ofcourse:D

I know its cliché, but the result tonight should come second to the actual performance. Will be interesting to see how Keogh performs on the wing tonight.

Keane could have had egg on his face, he was off celebrating but that defender wasnt a million miles away from clearing that ball ;)

International friendlies are as borin as hell. Columbia had some good players on the ball.

For all the hype about McGeady, he does flatter two recieve, beats two men and then waits and tries to go by them again. Some of corners were shocking. I thought Delany at left back has been the find of the two matches. Stong and has a bit of presence, could be the answer to a problem position.

Roll on september when the qualifiers start.

This is the team I would like to see stat the first qualifer

Given, Finnan, Dunne, O Shea, Delany, McGeady, S Reid, A. Reid, Duff, Keane , Doyle

    That is a good side

I actually though it was a good game for a friendly. Although nothing too outstanding from Ireland, and in the first half we were lucky to get away with being 1 goal up. Columbia had a good few chances.

I know its early days but I think the team are looking a lot better under Trappatoni - tonight they looked like they actually wanted to win, for a change!, and they worked their a**es off.

Would like to see Finnan and Reid back for the next match. And what is the story with that little pup Stephen Ireland? Like either he wants to play or he doesn't, make up your mind! The bl**din neck of him!
