Thats right, the earlier kick off takes on even more significance now. I still think we'll be ok, hopefully get a decent result today and still keep plenty gas in the tank for next Sunday.

I'd say with the likes of Sissoko, Benayoun, Voronin, Babel, Leto, Levia, Kewell and Crouch all raring to go after being left out of starting line-up at weekend we should be okay. Plenty of fresh legs for Sunday then and hopefully no injuries.

Do you think he'll risk Stevie? I doubt it. On bench I'd say and then bring him on if we're struggling...

sean - will you get to see much of the game?

From BBC football...

"Peter Crouch, Javier Mascherano and Yossi Benayoun are called to the Liverpool squad after being left out at Aston Villa.

French keeper Charles Itandje is also included but Jermaine Pennant is left out, and Harry Kewell is carrying a groin injury."

Peter Crouch and Andriy Voronin are both recalled to the Liverpool side to start up front for the Reds in Toulouse this afternoon.
Fernando Torres and Dirk Kuyt both begin on the bench as Rafael Benitez rings the changes from the side which won at Aston Villa on Saturday.

Yossi Benayoun and Ryan Babel both make their first competitive starts for the club while Sami Hyypia is back in the centre of defence alongside Jamie Carragher.

The Liverpool team for this afternoon's game, which kicks off at 3.30pm, is:

Reina
Finnan
Carragher
Hyypia
Arbeloa
Benayoun
Gerrard
Mascherano
Babel
Voronin
Crouch

Subs:

Itandje
Agger
Riise
Torres
Alonso
Kuyt
Sissoko

If i was a betting man, i'd have a few quid on Babel for 1st goalscorer...

Yeah he looked very up for it and was impressive on saturday and i'd say he'll be looking to get on that scoresheet!

No, watching the buildup now, will catch the first 5 mins I'd say before I have to go into work - torture!

Yossi Benayoun and Ryan Babel both make their first competitive starts for the club while Sami Hyypia is back in the centre of defence alongside Jamie Carragher.

Six changes from the team against Villa and looks just as strong as the team that started last Saturday! With Arbeloa starting again I think it underlines how much we need to sign a new left back

Some strike, controlled it about 30 yards out just to the right of the goal, turned and blasted it top corner, keeper didn't get near it.

Would take a one-nil but i fancy Liverpool to get another in the second half.

Babel's looked impressive, had a couple of nice runs and nearly set up Stevie G for a goal.

Yeah Babel has looked good, running at the defence, as i said earlier he's really eager! I'm sure Toulouse will really go for it now and hopefully we can get another one on the break and they don't look too threatening

Hi. Well done Voronin. Some people on this forum had written him off ( me especially). Couldnt see why we signed him when I first heard. Thats why rafa is where he is and why i am sitting pretty at the bottom of the home nations league:D

All that matters is we got a result, and can now focus on Chelsea next Sunday. Hope the heat hasn't taken too much out of the lads, but not playing until 4pm Sunday so I doubt it'll have any impact
