Hello all - Below are some details from one of our members who runs his own fantasy football site, he is currently trying to add some more people to his competition for the coming season and has kindly offered to make a kind donation to the Chernobyl Fund that Pam works with ! With the Premiership football season just a week away, I've updated my website www.block102.com with details of my new fantasy football competition for 2007-2008. The competition has a slightly different format to the normal ones - you gain points each week by submitting score predictions for each game. Depending how close you come to getting the exact score you earn points. There are also bonus points up for grabs each week in a few categories you choose before the season starts. Entrance fee for the season is €10.50 with over 80% of the fees collected going back into a very generous prize fund. We have plenty of prizes in the season - monthly winners, cup competitions and overall prizes. Last year's winner took home €250 at the end of the season. More details are on my site at http://www.block102.com/rules0708.html. There's also a faq section at http://www.block102.com/faqs.html. You can now enter using the online entry form at http://www.block102.com/entryform.html. Your predictions for week one can also now be submitted online at http://www.block102.com/fixtures0708.html For every entrant that's an existing member of Irish Kop I'll make a donation from the overall prize fund to Pam's Chernobyl Childrens Fund.....Once you complete the online entry form drop me an email with your Irish Kop username so I'll know to set aside some of your entrance fee for the charity.... Get your entry into this competition lads and lasies, we need more reds in it so we can wind up the mancs and the toffees in it during the season
Thanks JC23. We've got 92 people taking part so far so it looks like a very good prize fund. So far from IrishKop we have JC23, Reder and Avidmerrion signed up. With a few days to kickoff there's still plenty of time for more of you to join. Don't forget that a percentage of prize funds collected from IrishKop members will be paid over to the Chernobyl Children's Charity that Pam is involved with.... Thanks Joe
Come on people today is the last chance to join, good competition and also benifits charity too, really diapointing to see the poor support it has got from this site were the moto is helping fellow members out if possible !
Hi all, Pam and Sean - received your entries and you're all set to go. It'd be great if someone off here won the competition this year - might be an omen for the real thing! As of now, we've 111 entries. The prize fund, subject to me being able to collect all entrance fees will probably look something like this: Overall first prize - €275 Overall second prize - €150 Overall third prize - €75 Overall fourth prize - €50 Monthly winners - €25 for each of the 10 months in season Carling Cup winner - €50 FA Cup winner - €50 Champions League winner - €50 Not bad for submitting a few football scores! Joe
