Fernando Torres and Emmanuel Adebayor have taken the final two places in our setantasports.com Team of the Season.
Although our reporters and experts came up with very different Best XIs for the Premier League campaign, our readers have remarkably selected the same team picked by players themselves in the PFA ballot.
So even though Chelsea are still chasing a Premier League and Champions League Double, not one of their stars has made it into the best side.It means our team lines up like this:

David James (Portsmouth)
Bacary Sagna (Arsenal)
Gael Clichy (Arsenal)
Rio Ferdinand (Manchester United)
Nemanja Vidic (Manchester United)
Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United)
Steven Gerrard (Liverpool)
Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal)
Ashley Young (Aston Villa)
Fernando Torres (Liverpool)
Emmanuel Adebayor (Arsenal)

Thank you to everybody for your votes and to our experts for taking the time to compile their selections.

The final result for the striking slots is reproduced below:
FERNANDO TORRES LIVERPOOL 41%
EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR ARSENAL 25%
Roque Santa Cruz Blackburn Rovers 8%
Robbie Keane Tottenham 8%
Carlos Tevez Manchester United 7%
Dimitar Berbatov Tottenham 7%
Wayne Rooney Manchester United 4%

He's had another very good season about from the Man u game. How many clean sheets has he kept over the last 3 seasons, must be approaching 50

reina has had a good season but you cant look beyond david james. fair enough he makes the odd mistake but he has been magnificent this season and some of the saves have been top class.
