I think that he'll have a team Manager as well so that might take a bit of the media pressure off of him. He's a really good coach so hopefully he can do a job for the Irish team.

he's brilliant but not sure hiring a coach that knows half the team already is a good idea. that said, who else was better? rumour has it Alan Gaffey may come back to coach Munster.

Very happy to see him appointed

... and thats coming from a lad from Leinster ;)

He's by far, the best of those who were on offer (realistically on offer that is)

new rumour is Eddie O sullivan is being lined up for the Munster Job. that would be a little weird, two guys just swapping jobs. Eddie also dissed the IRFU for sacking him, hes a bit gutless if he jumps at the munster job.

Real shame that we couldn't attract a coach from abroad, I genuinely believe that Ireland needed a totally fresh approach with no preconceptions. But when a raft of people ruled themselves out there were very little options left.

Amazing how Ireland have gone from top three in the world to poisined chalice is twelve months

Kidney is an incredible coach, but I dont think hell succeed with ireland. The players are past it or have to much rugby on the clock. I dont think there is any real exciting talent coming through.

Having said that I hope Kidney is given time to bulid a team.

I'm gutted he's left my beloved munster cos i dunno too many coaches out there that couldve done what he's done - he's a legend down here! Having that said i think he'll do a great job with the irish if our targets are realistic and he's given time. He's not afraid to drop a big name player and give youth a chance -eg stringer and tomas o'leary and he's no respector of reputation. Only down side is his previous problems with hte guys in leinster but he's big enough to make the right calls. I wish him all the best. And oh god please dont fgive us eddie o'sullivan...he'll be playning ROG til he's 50

    Ian Dowling, Ian Dowling.

Can you imagine Rokocoko against him. Bradley is a fool and will destroy Munster
