4 Players Sent Off early in the Game,2 for Dublin and 2 for Meath.
then Ciaran Whelan was Sent Off later for Giving a Meath Player a Dig.

Dublin are a disgrace, 9 players off this year and its not the end of April. Vaughan should have got 3 months for cowardly punch against Monaghan. If it was a northern team that had sort of record, there would be hell to pay.

Its not just Dublin that are at this sort of carry on. The GAA needs to clamp down on ALL the county teams with regards outbursts on the pitch. It makes me laugh the way the media go on every time Dublin are involved in an incident like this. There were two teams on that pitch yesterday, and both of them were a "disgrace". They both had two players sent off each, and then of course Ciaran Whelan left to a cup of tea being f**ked over him. F**king disgraceful carry on. Oh but of course its only the Dublin fans who go on like this isn't it:rolleyes:

In my opinion Dublin get a lean view by the media for their on field behaviour, mainly because the newspapers are Pro Dublin. Dont forget about the selector headbutting Tommy Freeman also. If Tyrone or Armagh had the sort of record Dublin have this year, then you could bet the papers would be calling for massive fines etc.

I agree that all teams have a duty to get some sort order in the game. However the most recent massive brawls in GAA have involved Dublin, The Battle of Omagh, the Battle of Parnell Park, the jousting with Mayo where Caffrey nailed a Mayo official. For me Caffrey and his selectors have to bear the brunt of the blame they have been involved in too many incidents and do not set a good example for their players. As for a cup of tea being thrown at Ciaran Whelan, dont make me laugh, the Dubs are using that to deflect from their own behaviour.

I am not anti Dublin, I have lived in Dublin for 10 years and dont fall in the category of Boggers who love to see Dublin get beat. When Dublin do well in the Championship, its make for a better Championship all round. I would much rather see Dublin win it than Meath, Kerry or Cork.

Well fair play to ya Kopirish but I have to tell ya your in the minority there!. That part of it doesn't bother me - nobody likes the dubs, who cares.
I don't know what papers you're reading though when ya say all the papers are "pro dublin". Every time there is an incident with Dublin it is blown out of all proportion by the media and its made out to be that its Dublin who are the only team who get involved in these things. Like the "showboating" incident with Brogan during the Dublin v Laois leinster final last year. Again, something only the Dubs are guilty of obviously!
The bottom line is there is not enough of a crackdown by the GAA with incidents like what happened yesterday. It is also their responsibilty to make sure that these things do not happen and that the game is governed and protected properly. I was watching the "highlights" on the news yesterday and it was a disgrace from both sides, I was thinking to myself - what would happen if that was a soccer match?? Say between Liverpool and United! Could ya imagine - the game would be called off and fines and bans issued all over the shop (probably only to Liverpool though;):)). The GAA are not doing enough to stop this sort of carry on and alot of the blame has to lie with them as well as the players- and I will say it again Dublin are no worse than any other team. There were TWO teams on the pitch yesterday, as there always is, and both are as bad as each other. I can pick out plenty of incidents just as bad as yesterday were Dublin were not involved (believe it or not!) but I won't as I appreciate that this behaviour happens all the time and it is not just one county in particular.

As for the Ciaran Whelan tea incident being used as an excuse to deflect from the Dubs behaviour - I don't really know what to say to that to be honest, don't know how ya can think that. But this is another nasty trait creeping into games lately. Like what the Mayo fans did to Donaghy a couple of weeks ago - absolutely terrible behaviour and that person should have been identified and banned from ever attending a county GAA match again.

I am not condoning the behaviour by the Dublin players yesterday, I was actually disgusted at them when I saw what went on. Especially the likes of Ciaran Whelan who really should know better. But it really p**ses me off the way people go on about Dublin at times.
