strange story. The only brothers I can think of who played for different international sides are Christian (Italy) and Max Vieri (Australia).
Saloman Kalu from Chelsea was promised a place in the Holland squad for the world cup in 2006 if he declared for them, which he did After they drew Ivory Coast in the group stages it turned out that he was going to face his brother, who plays for them, in the match Because of this the Dutch interior minister refused to grant him a passport so he couldnt play Could have been interesting, other than that don't know of any brothers who played for different nations
well Wazza does look a Biffo so Johno(now that he's OIrish) should too and that would have been good enough for big jack so its good enough for me!!!! thats right eddie mcgoldrick isn't it !?!?!?!
Well the Rooney's are Irish on both parents sides, and are from the Irish Croxteth area in Liverpool. There's an article about it somewhere on here I think. He's so young yet though that it's hard to get excited, but worth a go I suppose!
I saw an interview with C Viera a few weeks back and now it is clear as to why he sounded Australian...!!!
Needs to be put into perspective though, he was left go by Everton and is now playing well in the bottom league.
