Starting next Tuesday, so all info and winners here please!:D
May attend tuesday if i can get someone to hold the fort!
Also have spare entrance ticket if anyone would like to go.
Should be a good meeting alright, just stay away from the handicaps.
Might go up one day meself.

Also that Wedger pardy was beaten by a neck by Red Setter in 1 of his last races and was better off in the weights then, but is even better off with that same horse again today. Just to make you aware!

That was actual this exact race last year!
Red setter hasn't run since and is now a 12 year old so i dont think he's the main danger today anyway. Money Point/Chance Your Arm and First down Jet are probably bigger dangers to Wedger Pardy.These races for amateur riders are one for keeping stakes to a minimum. Good luck with your bet :)

Had no luck punting over the last two months, so giving it a rest till euro 2008, will keep an eye on the races though.

Think 12/1 about Apt Approach is a good price. The run at Cheltenham in the Bumper/Lottery wasn't that bad and his previous win was good.

No joy yesterday but still 16 pts in profit for week.
If i had known Cousin Vinny's price was gonna be so big i would have backed him. Very impressive and if he takes to jumping he will be super prospect for next season.

Today's meeting at Punchestown I really fancy Kalahari King in the 1st race he's been knocking on the door in his last few races at big prices and think he will go 1 better today and win for D Russell.

2.30 Horner woods 5/1, 2 pts e/w (Harringtons horses are in great form)
3.05 Freneys Well 9/2, 2 pts e/w (Second in this last year and even though Nina perfers the fav at least we have John Thomas on borad)
4.15 Irish Invader 4/1, 2 pts win(Ruby not my fav jockey but this one is interesting for Mullins in that he's gone straight from winning a beginners chase into handicap company.
4.50 Blazing Bailey 4/1, 3 pts win(Hope the long season hasn't caught up on him but i loved the way he won at Aintree)
4.50 Earth Magic 25/1, 1 pt e/w (Even though i've backed Blazing bailey i'm a sucker for backing Bowes horses as they always give you a good run for your money)

Horner Woods led 3 out but once headed just blew up. LOST 4 PTS
Freneys well was crusing when making a mistake turning for and plodded out to be pipped for 3rd. Dunno if Powers had a special bet by paying 4 places. I'll assume not for the thread. LOST 4 PTS
Irish invader was a handicap good thing as i expected. WON 8 PTS
Blazing Bailey ya good thing :D Won 12 PTS
My sentimental bet on Earth magic was unplaced in same race LOST 2 PTS
That's a 10 Point profit on the day that means we're up 26 Pts for the week :)

My old man was at the meeting and rang me saturday to tell me
Franchoek won't be beaten! he was with the trainer, so i ran over
to bookies and stuck €50win at 11/10, bleeding donkey!
Won bet to finish the week off for me.

Long hard season caught up on him and didnt run his race.
