As shown on LFC TV last night

So, bring on Liverpool, who seem to have squeezed past Arsenal, in the end, with the help of a highly contentious refereeing decision. (I know - at Anfield. Who'd have thought it?) The end-result is the semi-final that nobody in the world, so far as I can make out, really wanted. And of course it could only be disappointing to advance this far in the Champions League and then end up playing, not a charismatic team from some exotic European destination, but an extremely dull one from the Premier League. It's like flying off on holiday and ending up in your back garden.

But we must take what we are given - and consider ourselves fortunate. After all, it's a draw against the weakest team remaining in the competition - the Cardiff, if you will, of the Champions League. And there is ample history on our side: too many of our players have known disappointment at this stage of the competition, too often.

Imagine, then, the steel-like resolve they'll be taking into this game. It surely can't happen again.

Fingers crossed they are 2 good games to match the last round but cant see it happening. As long as we beat them i don't care.

Yes, if 'ample history on our side' consists of Liverpool knocking them out of the Champions league then they cant claim they are not used to it when we knock them out again.

As for Chelsea calling anyone else dull.......

    What an arrogant twat!

'Dull' - Are we not the top scorers on the CL?

Sick of hearing Chelsea fans moan about 'that goal'
Watch it again, I would have preferred Cech to be sent off as he was the last man and to get a peno

What about Kuyts disallowed goal last season when he was clearly onside

Typical Chelsea, they're so boring on the pitch that the only way to excite the fans at all is with this crap. So we're the Cardiff of the group well its an interesting analogy considering they're in the FA cup final so yeah i'd take that over being the Chelsea of the champions league.

"And there is ample history on our side: too many of our players have known disappointment at this stage of the competition, too often. before!"
I really don't understand what that is meant to mean, surely this is suggesting that history is against them but i'm no chav so my IQ is probably too high for this!

At least you had something to keep you entertained while the game was on because it was rubbish. Without drogba and fat frank they really have no shape and Avram Grant will hopefully get a harsh lesson from the football Guru that is Rafael Benitez.
Thankfully Anelka is just awful in his current role so its gonna be down to keeping Joe Cole quiet and hoping that Torres isn't getting too assaulted by Terry, if he gets one on one Torres will eath him alive.
