Lost baggage

got back from the honeymoon this morning connecting to dublin thru atlanta.when we checked in our bags in mexico we didnt see them again till dublin.well actually the missus seen hers mine never made it.so i had to fill in a form etc etc.i was told to ring this evening they would know where it is by then but more than likely it will just be put on the next flight from atlanta to dublin tomorrow.

so i rang back tonight but they still dont know where it is.anyway the nub of it is,i think i heard somewhere there is an amount you can claim for every day its missing or something.does anyone know what you can claim and how??cos i know the handlers wont be so forthcoming with information like that.talk about back to reality with a bump

Happened to myself last year, American Airlines lost mine and the mrs bags, they never put them on the plane from Miami to Washington, clowns took 4 days to get them back to us. Got an American airlines voucher for 200 each for it.

€1,200 ain't so bad at all! Just tell them you purchased an expensive Rolex when you were over and you left it in you now lost luggage ;)

Its a kick in the nuts having your luggage misplaced, but be grateful for small mercies that it didn't happen on the way over!

sorry lads i forgot i posted this up it arrived on the wednesday evening thank god.the biggest thing i was worried about was my bottle of tequila and a mexican league shirt i bought,i work with a mexican lad and its his local team :D believe me if it was totally lost i woudve had the best of designer gear in the bag:p
