Sound not working with HDMI to DVI adapter

Hi
I recently bought a HDMI to DVI adapter do i could use my Xbox360 with my pc moniter.

I finally used it tonight but there is no sound:(

Obviously i have separate speakers but there is no way of connecting them to my xbox or monitor :(:(

Can anyone help ?

Those adapters only transfer video, not audio information.

I've never seen a xbox360 up close but they must have a separate audio connection which would fee into a hi fi.

you need an audio in connector with the red and white inputs on them.

you also need a connector to hook up the speaker into the middle connector then into the audio spilter
