in my case i was invited by the existing mods at the time,can't speak for anyone else....

Hi

Thats the way it's always been done, as far as I can recall.

From time to time, as the site grows or a couple of Mods "retire" from their "duties" for whatever reason, we open up the books again (as they say in the Mafia ;)) ...

If & when that happens, it tends to be a joint decision between those of us who are already Mods (although Dub13 retains the majority vote & holds a veto on anyone considered :D) ...

To the best of my knowledge, there's not any intention to take in new Mods at the moment, but given all Mods have an input on future nominations I'd suggest anyone interested in being considered do the following:

- ensure they don't get banned etc on the site

- ensure they take every opportunity to buy the existing Mods drinks if they ever meet them ;)

- stick at least €200 on their application, if they are thinking of applying :D



Hope the above pretty much answers the original question (sorry, I could have just said nothing, but I could'nt resist the opportunity to waffle a lot more than our mate Avid ..... did ;))
