This would be an interesting takeover if it went ahead.

Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone on Saturday refused to rule out the possibility of a takeover of Arsenal.

Ecclestone concedes he has yet to hold talks with the Premier League club, who are apparently bracing themselves for a £650million offer for control from American billionaire Stan Kroenke.

I've got my fingers and toes crossed that Arsenal don't get taken over anytime in the near future. LFC have finally taken a giant leap forward, and most would agree that we will be a top 3 side this season, along with Man U and Chelsea. To see Arsenal being taken over and able to match us again in the transfer market would be sickening just after we look to have taken two steps forward and they've taken one step back.

I hope they get the money to compete. Bring it on. Wouldnt like Arse fans to be able to say the only reason we keep finishing above them is money. Give them 10 times our budget......well still beat them
