I could barely handle playing them in the youth cup final over 2 legs last season. Beating them in the Champions League would be the ultimate, losing to them would be the most gut wrenching awful sporting low. What I'd like to see would be the other 3 prem teams and barca on the same side of the draw and us with any or Roma, Shalke and Fenerbache.

Or Vice Versa, thats the reason I wanted AC to knock them out of the CL last season to avoid meeting them in the final. Beating them like that would have been the greatest feeling in the world but to lose to them would require months of therapy to get over, but never lived down. Losing to them in the FA Cup final to Cantona's goal 12 years ago still leaves a bitter taste with me, even more than the nightmares of the players suits.

I was at that game and in fairness they did as was the opinion of most we talked to after. We had nothing up front as Torres had an off day, Mancs got a goal and sat back and basically said to Liverpool 'come on what have you got' and the answer was simply nothing, not too dissimilar to our performance at the Nightmare Theatre last season I think it was. Sure Masch in December at Anfield was getting bossed by Anderson I think it was playing that day in midfield for the Mancs and that shows how bad we were. We're due to get one over them but they seem to have an indian sign over us at the moment.
They are not in the best form yet they are top of the league and have a game in hand. The red-nosed one loves nothing more than beating Liverpool. He never fails to get his players up for this match and they seem to have a physcological advantage over us recently. However, we are in flying form. Rafa is due one against Fergie. We have Gerrard & Torres & Masch & Reina all playing their best football of the season. I think it'll be 0-1 to Liverpool with Torres scoring the winner. Rafa better sort out how to beat them now because we could be up against them in Moscow come May!
