    Hey lads

Since all the pubs are closed tonight:( I reckon I'll be sitting in with a few vodkas and a dvd.

Anyone recommend any good comedy movies? Doesn't have to be new release - think I've seen all the new ones that are any use.

The Big Lebowski - brilliant thanks Avid! Very funny and different from your average comedy. John Goodman is great in it!

Old School was on last week, I think its very funny.

Best Comedy in last 5 years is Borat, I nearly hyperventilated watchin it in the cinema.

Id agree with those 3 too, I've gone off Borat at the moment as there was just too much of him and he stops being funny. Like the Jake Stevens programme RTE had, he was grand on the Naked Camera in segments but a whole series was too much.

Im a fan of stupid comedys myself, Hot Shots Part Deux, Wrongully Accused (Leslie Nielson searches for the one eyed, one legged, one armed man that framed him for murder)

Run Fatboy Run isnt bad and Shaun of the Dead is classic.

I'd agree with most of the above. Im not a big Jim Carrey fan but I really liked Me, Myself + Irene. Airplane 1+2 are possibly the funniest movies ive ever seen.

have not seen Semi Pro, but I thought Old School, Blades of Glory, Elf and Night at the Roxbury were good. I thought Talledga Nights and Anchorman were ok, you have to watch them at least twice to pick up some of the guff.
