Bloody hate it... more than any holiday. Probably because I don't drink, not that I have a problem with people who do but I fell its just over kill on this day.

Town always seems that bit rougher aswell (that may sound ironic to some non limerick people).

Attitude to drink in this nation is appalling at times.

I actually Love this holiday and I have to admit I enjoy a few pints
when I get back from the parade, and later tonight I'll go
go out with the wife to the local and we'll enjoy a good old sing song

I do agree that there's a big problem with underage drinking on this day
but I blame the supermarkets and the off licence's for selling to the
ungeraged and selling at below cost specials

anyway have a happy St Patrick's day everybody ;)

Im working today. Just aswell, otherwise id probably be out on the piss. But I agree the drinking in this country is mad, especially on this day with all the underagers. It does be mental in town and you would be queing for a gargle in the likes of temple bar. Ya better off sticking with the local on Paddys day.
