If I leave my computer on at a certain webpage for a period of time (approx 5 mins),it will close when I go back to it after I move the mouse.
Anybody have any idea what the problem is?

Reset the web settings on Internet Explorer would be my advice.

sounds like teh power settings need to be changed in the control panel.
Seems like you have the monitor to turn off after 5 mins or so/ or a screeensaver

screen saver works with the power options, i had a pc whose graphics went fuzzy after the screen saver came on
to disable right click on desktop, select properties and screen saver turn it off.
If that doesnt work download internet explorer 7 from microsoft.com, this should get rid of the issue

I have spybot and spyware doctor from pc tools and they give me a clean bill of health.I know different anti virus software pick up on different ones.Should I get the AVG one as well as I have heard it is good or would make it any difference.
Thanks

What version of IE do you have? Is it Microsoft? If so, Mozilla might be an option

Mozilla Firefox is another browser, very similar to Microsoft and can be downloaded for free and follow the instructions
http://en.www.mozilla.com/en/firefox/
It has all the features of IE but none of the faults (As far as I can see anyway). You can install it on your machine and use it in parallel with Microsoft. It might solve your problem

We you want to browse you just click on the Firefox icon instead of the Internet Explorer (IE) one.

I'd recommend getting AVG and scanning your machine. Installing Firefox will allow you to browse but won't fix any greater issues.
I'd also install, Internet Explorer 7 if you haven't already. I'd also do a full Windows update by going to
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/
Also, run a spyware scan using this http://www.sunbelt-software.com/Home-Home-Office/Anti-Spyware/Download/
This is a licensed product but is excellent for scanning in situations like this.
Also, if you haven't installed Microsoft Defender, install it as one of your Anti-Spyware solutions. It is decent.
