Need help in unlocking eircom broadband

Hi guys
Just after getting eircom b/band into the house and just wondering how do I unlock it for wireless. Rang them but they weren much help. Any advice would be grateful..:confused::confused::confused::confused: :confused::confused::confused::confused:

Have you set your computer settings to allow wireless connection?

I assume they've given you the password n all that?

you need to open internet explorer and type in the router address

its nearly always 192.168.1.1

Log into the router, and there will be an option to enable wireless router.

Eircom routers are 192.168.1.254

in that case do this

Probably should change from the default WEP encryption to the WPA-PSK encryption. When I got Eircom in they were giving out routers with default encryption keys.
