Think that Wigan could be on the Sunderland slope alright.
I think Birmingham should be fine, they seem to have brought in enough talent to stay up, and the signing of Mido will give them enough fire power up front to steer clear of relegation. I actually think Sunderland will struggle more than people think, all credit to Roy Keane doing a fantastic job last season, but the Premiership is a whole new ball game and they don't seem to have brought in the right players. So my tip for the three to go down would be Wigan, Sunderland and Derby.

I fancy Sunderland to go down. They have a Championship side and I think they will struggle badly
Billy Davies is a very good manager and I wouldnt be suprised if Derby just about stay up. Birmingham,Middlesbrough,Wigan,Bolton and Reading will struggle too imo.

I know a few people who have money on that actually. I dont think they have bought very well ( Richardson aside). I just think there are weaker teams though. There are some terrible sides in the bttom 10 now. I see the chasm widening further.

Im sorry, but I think that jumped up Baby Bently Brigade Badge holder is their worst signing.

Yeah Richardson is dreadful.
Chopra was way out of his depth when he was covering for Owen at Newcastle. He was always decent enough when playing with his back to goal but in goalscoring terms he just wasnt good enough for the Premier league. I think he was with Barnsely and Watford before that and scored goals so he has Championship player written all over him.
With players like Miller,Varga,John,Yorke,Kavanagh and Murphy I just think they are great value at 4/1 to be relegated.
As I said earlier I think Derby could be the surprise package. Davies has said he is a year ahead of where he expected to be which has meant hes been able to hold onto Giles Barnes who I reckon will be a star this season. They have other good young players like Jones, Fagan, Leacock,Mears and Pearson. They have nothing to lose and Id like to see them do well

While they probably wont get relegated i think Bolton will struggle this season, having finished 7th,8th,6th and 8th the last four seasons cant see them getting into the Top 10 even.
Big Sam got the best out of the players and the way he had them play made them tough to beat.
Personally dont think Sammy Lee is anything more than a coach,so not even sure if he will last the season as manager.
Also their signings aint exactly world beaters - Jloyd Samuel, Heidar Helguson and a couple of others from other European Leagues.
Wigan could struggle to under their new manager and after being so lucky last season.
Cant see Reading do anywhere near as well as last season, 2nd season syndrome could kick in and their first 3 matches(Mancs,Chelsea and Everton) potentially could see them bottom of the PL with no points.
But you would expect 2 of the 3 newly promoted sides to maybe go back down.

.
They did get whilemsson the swedish lad on loan, he looks a really good player! along with anelka up front nolan in midfield and should stelios return to the form he had the year before last. I dont think they'll go down. although they could be a bit suspect at back without ben haim who was a big player for em last year.
I do agree tho that the signings aren't world beaters

I'd like Derby to stay up. They have a good side and a good attitude.
Wigan, Brum and hopefully Sunderland to go down.

I also think that sunderland will be found out this season, alot of average players who over performed last year imho ! i could not care less about them or thier manager i personally cant see why so many people are interested in going to see them all of a sudden im sure its because of the whole irish thing but i couldnt give a flying f*ck about roy keane or his players ! I also think wigan will go down with fulham too !

I was looking through the squads while picking my fantasy football team i reckon Derby, Wigan and I think Fulham.
Reading will find it tough, Sidwell was excellent for them
I hope Reading still do well and i think they can, as for who's going down, i don't really think you can say till a few weeks in, but yeah would agree with not seeing Derby or Wigan doing too well!

i think sunderland will struggle,i was at the galway utd game last week, they won 4-0 but i still think they are rubbish, derby have no hope and its between wigan and NI fulham
Birmingham's new acquision of Djourou will see their defence solid this year...it's the other end of the field they need to improve on...i can see them drawing many games this year...
Fulham I think have bought well enough to keep them up, I think Derby could do an Ispwich/Reading and have a great first season I dont know why I think it!!! Wigan and Birmingham are 2 that I think will go down.
