This is gonna be as hard to pick as the Best XI... I'm not going to try and pick players who never even got a 1st team appearance, gonna focus more on players who were just rubbish.

I need time...

OK, here goes.....

I'm sure there will be much debate about this....

Pegguy Arphexad - this was a tough decision... basically chose him as he managed to pick up 6 winners medals without actually playing in any of the finals.... maybe he should be in the luckiest XI... see if u can do any better in selecting a keeper

Bjorn Tore Kvarme - was off to a flyer till he messed up again the Toffees, never recovered
Phill Babb - was excellent for Ireland in USA 94, it was obviously a fluke
Mauricio Pellegrino - even the great Rafa makes mistakes
Julian Dicks - just a hatchet man

Antonio Nunez - is he really a footballer?
Bruno Cheyrou - compared to Zidane? must have been talkin bout the haircut
Paul Stewart - out of his depth, looked good in mediocre teams
Mark Kennedy - Championship player at best

Sean Dundee - turned like a bus, was just plain awful, when I saw him in a red shirt I thought there was hope for us all to wear one
Fernando Morientes - I sooo wanted him to succeed, just couldnt cut it in the premiership

That was hard work, lets see what u all think, i know there are many others left out... many may be screaming for Smicer to be in there - but I vowed never to say a bad word about the man after his involvement in the 2005 Champs League Final.

This team is based on ability. If it was based on bad signings would have included the likes of Kewell(hoping this will drastically change this season),Morientes, Cisse, Karlheinz Riedle, Cheyrou, Oyvind Leonhardsen, Mark Kennedy, Diouf(scumbag) Josemi and Krongkamp to name but a few

I went for a 4-5-1. Tatctically I wanted to pack the midfield with rubbish too.

Subs Traore, Stewart,Istvan Kozma ( the midfield maestro) Baab, Michael Thomas ( no I will never forgive him, ever, ever, ever. That FA cup final goal is worth nothing to me.)

Manager Graham Souness
