I know it's a bit early to be talking about Liverpool's player of the season for the coming campagine but it will be intresting to see who you think will have a big season for us. Apart from Stevie and Jamie.

babel and veronin i think and torres of course but babel cause he,s young fast and with the right players around him he could be awsome. also veronin i know he,s only played 1 preseason match but he even impressed me in that game so hopefully i could be right.
at the end of the day i hope were talking about how good this team is at the end of the year. and we can be picking up the premiership title at long last

With so many attack minded players arriving this summer (Torres, Babel, Veronin, Benayoun and I would almost include Kewell in there as he could be like a new signing if he stays fit), and with Rafa saying they're going to be an attack minded team, I think that Mascherano is going to have a monster season for us. He'll have to play a vital role in central midfield (surely with Xavi) in breaking up the play and starting fresh attacks. I think he's the perfect holding midfielder (though sometimes his passing is a bit wayward) - but between him and Sissoko I think this position is well covered.

How he never got a look in at West Ham is beyond me. He's simply world class with top experience already at such a young age.

I agree. I reckon Kuyt could be our poacher this season. I think we'll see him in and around the 18 yard box a lot more rather than dropping deep to get the ball to feet. I'm hoping were talking about the Kuyt/Torres partnership rather than an individual. El Nino's all round play will allow Kuyt to be our finisher, and concentrate all his efforts on getting in goalscoring positions.

Kuyt and Torres partnership. I believe that Voronin will be a huge asset with his power and pace. Mascherano also will be one of the players crucially this season.

I think if Xabi and Momo can sort out there form a good season from them will be in the offing. Yossi could have a good one also as he is already acclimatised to the premiership. Really looking forward to see Babel playing.

The most crucial of all for us will be Agger. Hopefully he doesn't get the second season syndrome.

Mr. Consistents, Carra and Finnan we know what we will get from them as per usual

Will be interesting to see if Kuyt gets more of a chance to stay in the box this season, with Torres most likely utilised in the role Dirk had to play last season by dropping deep and doing some donkey work. If Kuyt is allowed to wander into the box a bit more and await delivery of a few balls I think he will easily break the 20 goal mark.

im tipping crouchy to be top strker 4 goals this year. 1 thing he,s done since he has arrived was improved in the scoreing department. in all competions 20 goals would be good

Kuyt has already shown in the games where he got into the box, that he can put them away with ease. If he gets more of that next season, I think he will be our top scorer.

Torres will live up to the hype surrounding him and score 15+ in Premiership, and Babel will show that all that praise from Van Basten is earned. I think one player we forgot about will come back in big style - Harry Kewell.

Everyone is pining about Kewell FFS, although he will be like a new signing most fans said the same last year and look what happened. The man is a Michael Owen/Chris Kirkland of his position. To Injury prone and not reliable person to count on in that regard. Not doubting his talent but if he is not fully fit he is no use to us as a team we can't be carrying anybody next season.

Torres and Babel will set us alight in attack this season.
Steven Gerrard will climb head and shoulders above all this season and cement his status as a living legend.

We dont know how lucky we are with this lad.

Ive gone for Crouchy. Once he gets a decent run in the team and he has 2 proper wingers supplying crosses he will take the place by storm. I expect that all the new signings will take a few months to settle in as per usual.

I dont expect Torres to break 15 for the season tbh.

Note: I am excluding our 2 most commited players (Carra and Finnan) and Stevie Me who will be all over the media (Hello, Womans way etc) as per usual.
