Hi I've always wanted to go to an F1 race - somewhere like Monacco would be fab, if possible. Anyone here ever been & if so, can you pls give me any tips on how to get tickets etc ? All tips very much appreciated.

Camping looks like the best way to do it well maybe not for Monacco but elsewhere else. although I’ve lost interest in it over the last few year’s the Belgium race is probably the best one to get to see any action it’s on September 5,6,7th and you can book tickets here.. http://www.formula1.com/services/tickets_and_travel.html
you can fly dublin to Brussels (Charleroi) for just over €100 for two adults going out on the 4th coming back on the 9th...i'm thinking about going myself now

I was at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne. I used to watch it a lot back in 90s(probably cause there was a lot less footie on TV). Even though I was interested in it, I found being at the race very boring, ended up watchin big screen as you can only see whats happenin at your corner. Would not be a rush back, but glad I went for the experience as I always wanted to go to one.
alot of people stay in France and travel over for the race.Monaco is very expensive especially when the race is on. i think my brother in law was charged €70/80 for 3 pints or something like that anyway
Hey Cheers lads, thanks very much for all the help here .... looks like we may need to get Pam to sort an official IrishKop trip to the F1 if this keeps going - really appreciate all the tips etc, looks pricey but you gotta do these things once and before anyone mentions marriage, kids etc
